About This Service
The NIOC Training Centre platform supports programme discovery, online learning, progress tracking, assessment, and certificate issuance and verification. These terms explain how to use those services and should be read alongside the Privacy Policy and each programme’s specific information.
The current version includes demonstration programmes, articles, users and certificates. They illustrate the platform’s features and do not themselves establish an official qualification or permission to perform industrial work. Any separate training or contractual requirements formally issued by the centre must be considered in their own right.
Accounts and Access
- Provide an accurate name, email and department. Your registered name may appear on your certificate; report mistakes before completing a programme.
- Accounts are personal. Do not let someone else study or take assessments through your account, and do not use another person’s account.
- Use a unique password of at least 10 characters and sign out on shared devices. Contact support about account recovery or corrections to your details.
- Administrative access is reserved for authorised staff. Administration tools, reports and learning files must be used within the assigned responsibilities.
Enrolment and Course Availability
Read the programme description, syllabus, level, duration and completion requirements before enrolling. Enrolment provides access to that programme within its available features; it does not guarantee employment, promotion or recognition by another organisation.
The current version has no checkout or payment gateway. If a future programme has a fee, schedule or specific entry requirement, those details must be clearly stated before enrolment. Ask the centre if you need help choosing a programme or accessing its materials.
Learning Progress
Progress counts after it is successfully saved on the server. Each activity has a stated rule, such as playback percentage, reading time and acknowledgement, opening a file, reviewing cards or answering practice. Complete every required activity to finish a lesson; optional activities do not block progress. Earlier video lessons retain their 90% viewing rule. Completion alone does not demonstrate practical competence or authorisation to perform work.
Saving progress requires a working connection and a valid sign-in session. If the connection drops or the displayed percentage seems incorrect, check your connection and sign-in, then reopen the page. For a record review, send support the programme, lesson, approximate time and a description of the issue.
Assessments and Fair Use
- An assessment becomes available after the required lessons and prerequisite assessments are complete.
- Each assessment shows its configured passing score and question count before it starts. Questions carry equal marks and the score is the percentage answered correctly.
- The administrator sets the number of attempts in a rolling 24-hour window and any retry delay. The limit does not reset at midnight. Starting a timed attempt uses a place in that window, even if the learner leaves the page.
- Submit your own work. Do not bypass attempt limits using another account, have someone else take an assessment or manipulate results.
- If submission fails, check the saved result in your dashboard and report the issue before repeatedly retrying. A technical review does not automatically guarantee a pass or restore an attempt.
Certificates and Verification
A certificate is issued after the learning prerequisites and final assessment are passed. It records the holder’s name, programme title and hours, issue date, score and verification code. The template image alone does not establish validity; check the record through the verification service.
A demonstration certificate only illustrates the platform. Even a certificate for an approved programme does not replace required practical training, a work permit, job competence assessment or organisational safety procedures. Recognition for a particular purpose depends on the receiving organisation’s requirements.
Anyone with a verification code or link can view the certificate without signing in. Share it responsibly. Do not alter names, templates or scores, or present another person’s certificate as your own. Ask the centre to review incorrect details.
Content and Intellectual Property
Videos, text, questions, images, marks and certificate templates may belong to the centre or other rights holders. Learning access does not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish, sell, advertise with or publicly distribute the materials. Obtain the rights holder’s permission for use beyond authorised personal or organisational learning.
Administrators must upload only material they are authorised to use and publish. Do not include another person’s private information, confidential industrial material or restricted files in a programme, article or certificate template. Send content-rights enquiries to the centre with the page address and details of the concern.
Acceptable Use
- Respect other users’ privacy and do not disclose their certificate codes or reports without permission.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, files or administration, or bypass security and learning controls.
- Do not submit malicious files, abusive messages, misleading information or requests that disrupt the service.
- Report a suspected security issue privately through the contact form with sufficient detail. Do not publicly expose users’ information or exploitable details.
Availability and Technical Support
Video programmes require a current browser, video playback support and a reliable connection. Layouts support desktop and mobile, while playback quality also depends on your device and network. Browser controls or blocked storage may affect sign-in and progress saving.
Maintenance, content updates or technical faults may temporarily affect availability. Support enquiries are submitted through the contact form; this version does not announce a guaranteed response time or round-the-clock support. Include your device, browser and a screenshot with sensitive information removed when reporting a problem.
Changes, Access Restrictions and Review
Content and features may be updated. Changes affecting completion requirements or certificate validity should be communicated to affected learners before they take effect and should not be applied to earlier records without an explanation. The revision date appears at the start of this page.
The centre may review and restrict relevant access where there is a security risk or use contrary to these terms. You can ask support for an explanation or a review of an access decision or learning record. These terms do not remove rights preserved by applicable law or replace binding organisational rules or agreements.
